What is a game jam?
A game jam is an event where participants try to make a video game from scratch. It can be done alone or in teams and it is done in a limited amout of time.
Schedule
Interest check starts - 31st January
Interest check ends - 29rd February
Mod applications start - 1st March
Mod applications end - 23rd March
Aditional information for the events progress will be added later depending on how the results of this poll are.
Guidelines
No plagiarism.
AI "writing"/"art" is not permitted.
The fangame must contain Identity V characters. It can be a ship-related game, a dating sim, Canon x OC, as long as the game has IDV characters in it you can make it.
You can use any setting you'd like. Canon setting, Manor AU, Truth & Inference AU, anything goes.
You can use any game-making program (RPG maker, ren'py etc.) and make any sort of game you want (RPG, visual novel, etc.).
You must credit any resources that do not belong to you. This includes music, sprites, tile sheets, backgrounds, everything not made by you or that didn't come with the engine you're using.
Please refer to our FAQ before asking any questions, and direct any other questions to our curiouscat.
About teams
You can participate in this event either as a solo creator or as a group of people. Regardless of how you participate, you will be considered a "team".
There is no limit to how many teams there are and there is no limit on how many members a team can have.
Specifications for the fangame
The game has to be at least 30 minutes long.
The game does not need to be fully finished by the end of the event. You can still submit ts as a "demo" of the game, as long as it's 30 minutes long.
It should be beta tested by someone (can be a teammate or someone who's not familiar with the game). We advise having someone who hasn't worked on it play through it, as it can show bugs and other things missed by the devs of the fangame.
